Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Dominion Church is composed of like-minded people that Love Jesus and Love People.  We believe that part of our existence as a believer is to be spent serving alongside the local church to build up the kingdom of God in our local community and around the world.  We would love for you to be a part of one of our Dream Teams.

Serve in our church

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

We pride ourselves on our level of volunteerism here at DC.  It's men and women and children that help serve and make our church go!  We would love for you to partner with us and join a Dream Team to serve.  We have ministries that meet inside the church and some that go outside the church.   If you are interested, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

Volunteer Process

Here at Dominion Church we depend and rely upon volunteerism in ministries to promote the Good News of Jesus in our church and throughout our community.  It is our highest priority to keep our environments safe and secure, while allowing the Holy Spirit to use us in our lives to reach people.  We invite and encourage a servant’s heart and mentality for each of our people in the church.
Volunteers must be at least in the 6th grade to serve in our ministries within the church.  Here’s some information you will need to know before volunteering.

#1. You must attend a Growth Track Class

Our growth track lunch moves you  into a deeper connection with our church and with others. This lunch is designed for you to meet our pastors and staff and hear the heartbeat of DC.  This is the first step to volunteering, becoming a member or leading in a ministry role.

#2. You must fill out an online application

We ask that every individual that desires to volunteer complete the online application.  This application helps us to get to know you better and it gives the church permission to do a background check on you.  We ask that you be honest and upfront with all the answers you complete.   Once completed it will be only seen by staff, held in a secure online database

#3. You must have your Background check reviewed

Once you complete the online application, we will run a background check that is only reviewed by staff and safety director.   This information is reviewed and you will receive notifications of a meeting to be set up by the volunteer pastor.

#4. You must watch the Safety Video that will be emailed to you

You will receive an email with a link to watch a 20 minute video that we ask all our volunteers to watch.  This video keeps all of our people in line with the values and standards of behavior.  Our greatest priority is the safety of our people here at DC.
